NBA 2K26 Update 1.011 Drops Ahead of Season 3

A new NBA 2K26 patch has landed as update 1.011, rolling out today across current-gen platforms. While 2K recently shipped a Season 3 prep update, this latest patch delivers additional fixes—especially around VC rewards—and looks to stabilize the game before next week’s season launch.

Right now, the patch appears to be current-gen only, which likely means the last-gen update is still awaiting certification. Once approved, it will likely deploy shortly after.

🔧 What’s Included in Update 1.011?

Visual Concepts has not published official patch notes yet, but the development team has confirmed several issues targeted for this update. The main fix addresses incorrect VC payouts in Pro-Am.

✔ Pro-Am VC Fix

2K confirmed that some players were earning VC incorrectly in Pro-Am 3v3:

  • Pro-Am 3v3 VC was being calculated using 5v5 rates

  • This has now been corrected in update 1.011

  • 5v5 VC remains unchanged

This should bring payouts back in line with intended values for competitive 3v3 players.

💰 REC VC Display Bug Still Pending

A second issue tied to visual VC totals in The REC has also been acknowledged:

  • Post-game recap screens may show lower VC amounts

  • Actual VC credited to your account is correct

  • Players can verify this by checking VC balances before and after each game

  • A full fix for the visual bug will arrive in an upcoming update, not this one

2K emphasized that this is purely a display problem and does not impact actual VC earnings.

📅 Season 3 Update on the Way?

Season 3 of NBA 2K26 officially begins on:

  • November 28

  • 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT

It’s unclear whether Visual Concepts plans to ship another patch on the Season 3 launch date, but given typical release patterns, a follow-up update is highly likely.

🧠 Final Thoughts

NBA 2K26 update 1.011 may be small, but it solves one of the most frustrating issues players have dealt with in recent weeks—incorrect Pro-Am VC earnings. With Season 3 just days away, this patch helps smooth things out before the next content drop.

Stay tuned for full patch notes once Visual Concepts publishes the official changelog.
