EA’s New Skate Hits 2 Million Players in 24 Hours, Major Bug Fixed

After 15 years, EA’s Skate is finally back—and the comeback couldn’t be stronger. Within one day of launch on September 16, the new free-to-play entry in the series welcomed more than 2 million players worldwide.

🎮 What Platforms Is Skate On?

• Currently in early access on PC and consoles

• Mobile versions for iOS and Android are planned

• No release confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2

While free to play, EA is also offering optional bundles:

• Founder’s Pack – $25

• Founder’s Pack Deluxe – $50

These packs include extra content and cosmetics, but EA has confirmed that when the game officially launches into Version 1.0 next year, it will still remain free-to-play.

🐞 Major Bug Fix

Despite the strong debut, the launch wasn’t without hiccups. Players reported a frustrating “soft lock” bug that prevented progress at certain points in the game. Full Circle has now confirmed that the issue has been patched, ensuring smoother gameplay moving forward.
